Matt and Carly’s wedding at Sloss Furnaces was all kinds of incredible!!! From the fabulous florals and creatively stunning cake, to the gorgeous fashion and the night of dancing under the Sloss tower! Even when a bit of rain moved in, everyone had a smile on their face! I’ve actually been infatuated with Sloss ever since first attending Furnace Fest (over ten years ago – eep)! When I established White Rabbit Studios, shooting a wedding at Sloss was on my “bucket list” – and what a stunning soiree to have captured!
We started the day with a lovely first look to be able to capture loads of portraits in and around Sloss. The ceremony happened near the water feature in the lush lawn, with the cocktail hour following nearby. After Carly changed out of her custom Olia Zavozina gown (found at Finery) into a snazzy short number, she and Matt greeted their guests underneath the water tower for dinner, cake, and dancing! To make the day even cuter, the two lovebirds shared their wedding day with their new puppy, Pippa! He was so excited to be there – from the first look to the first kiss (which he promptly fell asleep after underneath a pew).
I can’t thank Matt and Carly (and their families and friends) enough for letting me capture such a magical time! It was an honor, and I’m so happy to not only have still photographs from the event, but also a motion picture! Be sure to check out the video to see just how FUN this wedding was!
Another huge thanks to Southern Bride magazine for choosing a shot of Carly and Matt’s cake to grace the front cover! Also, to Style Me Pretty for featuring some beautiful highlights, which you can read here!
