The inspirations for this shoot were the herbs parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, as listed in the Simon and Garfunkel song, “Scarborough Fair.” Taking us back to the Medieval times, these particular herbs were often used in wedding bouquets, as symbols of love and prosperity, and ways to ward off bitter and sad feelings. Not only are their scents heavenly, but they are also long-lasting. Mixing these age-old traditions with modern foliage created a stunning set of florals for the bouquet and table decorations. Styled in a magical woodsy area, with traces of a snowy day still remaining, we could not have asked for a more romantic setting.
