I just LOVE the Crescent City! It’s a quintessential Southern City that everyone needs to explore during their lifetime! Although I’ve visited several times before, it was only for a night (two if we were lucky). For my 30th birthday my husband and I decided to spend a few nights and gorgeous days trekking such a dazzling city! We stayed in an incredible Airbnb, one block away from such a great part of Magazine Street!
A few weeks prior to the trip, my husband spotted a camera for me (“is this one you’ve been looking for?”) – WHY YES! An Olympus Pen ee-3?! I flushed with excitement, especially at the $10 price tag! Her name is Penny and she’s in MINT condition! I just received my first roll back from the lab, and the results blew me away!! Half frame cameras* are super handy for traveling (72 shots over 36? Yes please)! It’s such a great point and shoot camera, with superior lens quality! Along with Penny I brought the XA2 and Fuji x100 (for the night time shots). Every where you turned was picturesque – amazing houses, cobblestone paths, bright colors, mossy Oaks, record shops, kitties!, A TOYNBEE TILE (omg y’all – our first one – SO excited to have found it)! Below are the results of the fun!
*I left the diptychs that worked together, but separated the frames that had a horizontal and vertical image next to each other – for easier viewing pleasure!
