For the past few years we’ve done a bit of “wilding” to our yard – allowing beneficial plants to take root to nourish the soil, ourselves, and the wildlife. Some of these plants are crucial to the survival of their hosts and it’s so cool watching the cycles of life. Each Fall, the yard EXPLODES with color! The way the yellows and purples dance in a complimentary fashion. The okra flowers that tease what delightful fruit it will provide soon. The buzzing of bees and butterflies. The flittering of hummingbirds. It’s a beautiful space of land I feel so fortunate to cultivate.
