Sometime last year I decided I wanted to capture my own styled session on film. My inspiration was to highlight the rich Southern hospitality, along with the idea of a “farm to table” reception. After meeting Natasha and Laurence at 1818 Farms, I fell in love with their land, ideas, and personalities! Kind-hearted, motivated, and sweet as pie, it was easy to get the ball rolling with the concept!
I am so thrilled to say that all of the amazing talent that made this session possible are my friends! From the lovely location of 1818 Farms (which is now available for weddings), to the delectable delights of both Albany Bistro and Carlton’s Catering, to the fabulous fashion and stylings of Finery, to the marvelous makeup by Nancy Finnegan, and the gorgeous hair done by The Beauty Enhancement by Stacey Spearman – all of these folks came together one fabulous day in which I could capture such stunning southern inspirational images! A huge thanks also to Bethany and Whitney (of Glass Jar Photography) for modeling and being my muses! I also need to extend a special appreciation to my graphic designer, Rachel, who came up with such FANTASTIC invitations – adorable Forget Me Not seed packets which double as Save the Dates!
All of these people have such a special place in my heart and it’s always such an honor to work with them! I can’t thank them enough for creating exactly what I was envisioning and making the whole thing such a fun experience!
A huge thanks to Belle Lumiere Magazine for featuring this session! You can view the post here!
