Inspired by the whimsical elements in Wonderland, Alice and the Mad Hatter share their vows among the forty foot sunken gardens. Alice returns through a stereoscope and is delighted to spend an afternoon celebrating love with her friends and family! Little details are placed at the setting of each character at the exaggerated and long dinner table, complete with floral adornments and (of course) plenty of teapots to go around! Guests dined in style with pancetta and lemon half shell oysters, bacon and feta stuffed portobello mushrooms, black cherry hand pies, blueberry scones, blackberry jam tarts, and a wonderful Mad Hatter Carrot Cake! Cocktail hour is spent lounging in the hookah bar area, which is decorated with textiles from all of the adventures Alice and the Hatter have been on together. Drinks were served on a vintage bar cart, with the tea-stained labels that were written backwards, only to be read through the looking glass which rested behind the cart.
The magic wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible talent of my friends!! Full credits:
