Natural Bridge Elopement

Inspired by the beauty of a natural landscape, the couple wanted to harness the forest feel during their elopement. They opted to exchange their vows in Alabama, under a 148’ bridge made of some of the most beautiful Southern sandstone. Surrounded by the greenery of ferns and moss, this romantic atmosphere made for the perfect setting! After the intimate ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed a picnic with delicious refreshments, including a cucumber and mint infused water. To keep tradition alive, the couple opted to honor the Appalachian wedding cake approach (dating back to the 1700’s) – mini layers were created and topped with fresh fruit, drizzled with honey! For the “groom’s cake”, mini chocolate bundt cakes with fresh berries.
