Kimberly and Robert tied the knot under a darling arbor (adorned with fabulous florals by Old Frond) in their very own backyard. Surrounded by their family and friends (AND their pups), they kept it short and sweet before celebrating at the Flying Monkey Theater (where Kimberly often performs with Out Loud Huntsville), located at Lowe Mill. The love birds met at Lowe Mill, and chose to support a wide variety of artisans who also call Lowe Mill home away from home! From the photography (by yours truly, obviously), to the invites that Robert designed and letter-pressed himself at Green Pea Press, to the rings they MADE themselves (thanks to Connie Ulrich Studios), to the yummy cakes by Pizzelle’s, to the DELICIOUS vegetarian food by Chef Will, to the officiant (our dear friend Cat that owns Happy Tummy), to the guest book – a pressing of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan that was found at Vertical House Records and hand-crafted into an album by Marcia (Lowe Mill’s creative director) with help from Sonja (At Some Point Press). These two inked a record and hand printed each page, and Marcia hid little letterpress notes. My favorite part of the entire book is the fact the record is tucked away in the back, so Kimberly and Robert are able to listen year after year as they re-visit wedding day messages. My heart was so happy to witness and capture the love between these sweet souls!
